TMJ Rehab
The TMJ refers to a joint in the jaw called the tempromandibular joint. Often misdiagnosed, the extreme complexity of this joint leaves patients susceptible to many discomforts. Face pain, pain while chewing, headaches and neck pain are the most common complaints by patients with TMJ problems. These problems are limited to all of the bones of the face and upper spine and the complex system of nerves, muscles, soft tissue and organs (eyes, tongue, throat, etc.) of the head, neck, chest and face.
The proper diagnosis is the key to successful treatment. Our therapists' understanding of how the structures interrelate and cause problems lets us successfully treat many TMJ conditions.
